Welcome to our Farm!
Naturally Negros grows, raises, and sells many fantastic products for consumption, all the way from seed to table!
Our Vegetables, Mango, Quail Eggs & Pork products are all sourced directly from our farms. The income generated by Naturally Negros pays our workers salaries & Farm expenses. Any additional proceeds support the various good works of its mother organization - PICD - Philippine Immanuel Churches of the Deaf Inc. Their Ministries include dormitories for deaf school-aged children, individual child sponsorship, and Deaf pastors/churches. |
Our farm is a 4.7 hectare mango orchard that was purchased in July 2013.
The chicken layer project is our very first livelihood project. It was established to provide a steady income and financial independence to a deaf & blind Filipino man, who has since moved on to other opportunities. The project has 125 laying hens, & 50 new chicks, purchased January 2015! The demand for chicken eggs is excellent around the community, and we are extremely excited for the future! Naturally Negros aims to use "sustainable agriculture" for all of its produce. The pig manure is made into compost, then introduced back into the soil or fed to our thousands of worms to produce "vermicast" as fertilizer instead of chemical alternatives. The mango trees will eventually be sprayed with other organic substances instead of the typical use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Our workers mix their own organic feeds for pigs, chickens and quail. |
